gonna

 

 

Going to + verb == gonna


Note: onna is used only after “I’m”.

Slow pronunciation:

James : See you later, Dad!
Michel: Where are you going, James?
James : I’m going to watch the baseball match with Lucy.
Michel: I don’t like this girl. I don’t want my son have a girlfriend with nose ring.
James : Take it easy, Dad. We are just friends like others. Don’t worry.
Michel: That’s what I’m afraid of.

Fast pronunciation:

James : See you later, Dad!
Michel: *Where’re *ya *goin’, James?
James : I’m *gonna watch the baseball match with Lucy.
Michel: I don’t like this girl. I don’t want my son have a girlfriend with nose ring.
James : Take it easy, Dad. We are just friends like others. Don’t worry.
Michel: That’s what I’m afraid of.
